HistorySynerComm Inc. was founding in 1989 by Mark Sollazo, President & CEO and Kirk Hanratty, VP and CTO. SynerComm entered the emerging enterprise network infrastructure market that was being driven by the need for PC LAN and WAN connectivity. SynerComm enjoyed success throughout the 1990's focusing on the router, Ethernet switching, and dial-up remote access enterprise technology adoption waves. In late 1999, SynerComm entered the emerging enterprise network security market that was being driven by adoption of the Internet by enterprises by partnering with industry-leading security equipment providers, such as Check Point Software Technologies. SynerComm continues to enjoy success in the enterprise security market in the Midwest and Southwest regions. The enterprise security market has evolved from traditional security tools such as firewalls and anti-virus to include security tools that allow enterprises to leverage the internet to get closer to customers and drive costs out of their businesses as well as meeting their evolving compliance and governance requirements. |
